BradFest began in 2010 as a way to celebrate the life of an extraordinary, beloved friend, family member and talented local musician with a fun-filled weekend of music while raising funds to support young MN musicians. Take a look at this footage from the first annual BradFest in 2010:
BradFest is a program of the Friends of Brad Memorial Foundation. Friends of Brad, like its namesake, is inspired and driven by the power of music to touch and shape our lives. See Brad Rozman in action, sharing music with others.
The Friends of Brad started BradFest as an annual showcase of local and regional talent. It has been a homecoming for native Northern Minnesotan musicians and fans and an opportunity to raise money to support local musicians—all while having a blast together on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior. BradFest always includes a jam-packed lineup of music, belly dancing and other entertainment, tasty food and refreshments. In keeping with Brad’s spirit and unique outlook on life, BradFest is always infused with a bit of absurdity and lots of laughter.
